What should I do if I am injured at work?

Immediately report the injury to your supervisor. This will ensure your claim is timely reported.

What should you do if you are in an accident?

Call the police seek medical attention if necessary and call Fink and Hayes before filing a claim!

What should I do if the insurance company calls me?

Do not give a statement to anyone! You can tell them the location of your vehicle so they can assess property damage but nothing else after that call Fink and Hayes!

Am I automatically covered under workers compensation if my injury occurs while I am working?

NO. The injury must be the result of an “accident”. An accident is something that is unusual; out of the ordinary, and an interruption in your normal work routine. An example is a “trip, slip, or fall” etc…..There are few exceptions to this rule.
