Born in 1964, is a lifetime resident of Charlotte. He graduated from Providence Day School in 1982 and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986.

Andy obtained his JD degree from Campbell University School of Law in 1989 and upon graduation began the practice of law, establishing the Law Offices of Fink & Hayes. He married Amber Fink in 2005.

Andy is an active member of:

The North Carolina Bar Association
The North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers
The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

He is licensed to practice in North Carolina and all Federal Courts. Andy is actively involved in the Mecklenburg County Bar partnership with Devonshire Elementary School, where he tutors children in grades 4 through 6.
